Setting up a follow
Each company listing and founder profile displays a Follow button. Click it to start receiving updates. If you're signed in, you follow immediately and the button changes to Following. Without an account, the button directs you to sign up or log in, then returns you to confirm your follow. Signing up is free.
What you'll receive
Followers of a company get notified of milestones, product announcements, status changes (such as acquisition or closure), founder stories, demo video updates, and new launches across the site. You'll also see Launch of the Week recognitions (#1, #2, #3). Followers of a founder receive their new founder stories only.
All updates appear as notices in your account and arrive by email.
Managing your notifications
By default, updates come as a single daily summary email. Visit /account/notifications to adjust frequency: instantly, daily, weekly, or off. You can also add Telegram or Slack notifications there.
Stopping a follow
Return to the company or founder page and click Following to unfollow immediately. No further updates will be sent. You can alternatively turn emails off at /account/notifications whilst remaining a follower.
How follows affect vote rankings
Following does not count as a vote and does not change a listing's vote count or Product of the Week status. Your follows do appear in the /launches/most-followed list, which ranks the most followed companies on the site.
