Voting eligibility
To vote on Biz Launches, you must sign in and confirm your email address. Each person may cast one vote per listing, and votes apply to live launches only.
Voting sequence and safeguards
You can vote for your own launch after you have voted for someone else's. The system applies hourly and daily limits to prevent abuse. Suspicious vote patterns are flagged and held for review before being counted. A human check may be requested at any point.
Votes remain independent
Votes are never for sale. Community votes, paid ranking (the billboard), verification status and factual data such as Domain Rating operate as separate, clearly labelled systems. Purchasing a listing or upgrading your verification does not alter your vote count or anyone else's.
Active community members earn influence, which can increase the weight of their individual votes. This influence is earned through participation alone.
Questions people ask
- Can I vote for my own company straight away?
- No. You must vote for another launch first. After that, you can vote for your own.
- What stops people buying votes?
- Votes and paid features are completely separate. No payment affects vote counts. Influence that increases vote weight is earned through community activity only.
- Why might my votes not count immediately?
- Suspicious patterns trigger a hold for human review. Limits per hour and per day also apply to prevent abuse.
